Cruise ship Celebrity Reflection

The ship’s owner, Celebrity Cruises, states: “Celebrity Reflection is our new marvel.” The ship was launched and set sail on its maiden voyage in 2012. Compared to its older sisters in the Solstice class, this ship features an additional extended deck, a large number of cabins and seats in the main and alternative restaurants, as well as new lounges and pools. In short, the Celebrity Reflection is bigger and better than all the rest, because it embodies and builds upon all the cruise line’s achievements.

General information:

  • Length: 319 m, width: 37 m,
  • 1,300 crew members, accommodates up to 3,046 passengers,
  • flagged in Malta, operates cruises to the Caribbean and the Mediterranean.

Cabins

Those planning a cruise on this ship will be pleased to know that most of the cabins have an ocean view. The smallest cabins measure 17 square meters; more details on the luxury cabins are provided below. There are also cabins equipped with additional amenities for guests with disabilities.
Standard amenities and services for all cabins:
  • 24-hour service
  • Room cleaning twice a day
  • Ice delivery (upon request)
  • Bathtub, hairdryer
  • Minibar, safe
  • Samsung interactive TV system (which can be used to order room service or shore excursions, as well as to watch TV or movies)

Passengers in the new AquaClass suites enjoy additional privileges, such as table reservations at Blu restaurant, access to the Persian Garden and the VIP area, and special programs at the fitness center and spa.

The one-of-a-kind Reflection Suite, measuring 170 square meters, is located on the 14th deck. It can accommodate up to 6 people. The suite features floor-to-ceiling windows, two bedrooms, a living room, a dressing room, a dining room, a bathroom with a jacuzzi, a glass-walled shower that extends beyond the deck, and an iPad system that allows you to remotely adjust the brightness of the lights and TV, the height of the mattress, and activate a massage.

Celebrity Cruises offers the services of a personal butler in Suite-class cabins: in-cabin dining service, afternoon tea or coffee, as well as assistance with various requests.

Dining (All-Inclusive Plan)

In addition to the main restaurant, the cruise ship features 4 specialty restaurants, 5 cafes, 8 bars, and a wine bar.

The main restaurant offers personalized dining options and specialized menus: vegetarian, children’s, kosher, and diabetic. For Suite-class passengers, there is the Luminae restaurant with exclusive dishes that change throughout the cruise. The Blu restaurant is for guests in AquaClass cabins.

The Qsine restaurant is very popular, where you can order dishes using an iPad (just select the ingredients, shake the device, and voilà—a cocktail with a unique recipe!) as well as The Lawn Club Grill, the first open-air grill restaurant.

Wellness, Recreation, and Sports

  • The “Persian Garden” area features Turkish baths, an aromatic and infrared sauna, a cold room and a salt bar, mud baths, and heated loungers with a magnificent view of the sea.
  • Pools: 2 outdoor pools (one with a retractable roof), 1 indoor heated pool, a jacuzzi, and a solarium.
  • Fitness center, exercise equipment, table tennis, volleyball, basketball, and golf.
  • Lawn Club—a 2,000-square-meter lawn on the upper deck with real grass for picnics, relaxation (you can walk barefoot or lie in hammocks), and more active games such as bocce or croquet.
  • Private alcoves for groups of up to 4 people—cozy, shaded areas on the upper deck with views of the sea and the grassy lawn.

Цікаві заняття та розваги

  • For children:
The ShipMates Club (for the youngest guests) and the Fun Factory Club (ages 6–11) host themed parties, talent shows, relay races, movie screenings, and interactive and team games. Special attention is given to children with autism.
  • The Xclub for teens hosts themed parties, sports tournaments, team games, and karaoke; budding filmmakers can film around the ship using GoPros and then edit their own movie in the iLounge.

For everyone

  • Evening Broadway-style performances, circus acts, comedy shows,
  • the Hot Glass Show (glassblowers’ creations are raffled off after the show),
  • cooking demonstrations, educational lectures, master classes led by experienced sommeliers,
  • an art gallery, an internet café, a shopping area, a library,
  • a conference hall for 220 people (used for business meetings, cocktail parties, balls, and even weddings),
  • the Quasar nightclub, a casino, and discos.

According to the results of the 2017 UK Cruisers Choice Awards, an annual competition held in the United Kingdom, most of Celebrity Cruises’ ships received top honors in all categories, reaffirming the brand’s status as an industry leader. And Celebrity Reflection was the star of the show, taking home a total of three first-place awards.
